For the past four years, she has done so with assistance from The Westchester Bank. After working with other banks and lenders, Berardi has found a permanent banking home.
“They truly are what they say they are,’’ Berardi said. “They are business banking made personal. They’re extremely gracious and they make the whole process very easy for business banking.”
Berardi works with all types of natural stone, tile and precast concrete. The company furnishes the interior and exterior components of residential, commercial and public projects. Its focus is Manhattan, but the White Plains business also builds projects in Westchester, Connecticut, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.
From the outset of her relationship with The Westchester Bank, Berardi saw a difference in working with them compared to other banks.
“I could tell right away that I was going to like this relationship,’’ Berardi said. “Their approach is very personal, which is nice. There are not a lot of banks that give personal service any more.”
With complex projects covering three states, Berardi needs quick decisions and financing flexibility to have her team complete them. She has found she can trust The Westchester Bank to provide her what she needs.
“From (President) John Tolomer all the way to the teller at the window, in all of my dealings with any kind of bank they are the most accommodating,’’ Berardi said. “They’re gentle people and very nice to work with.”
