WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Business Council of Westchester is encouraging businesses to join the organization by the end of the year.

The White Plains-based Council connects over 1,000 businesses in the Lower Hudson Valley. Businesses can participate in over 80 different programs designed to support business growth. Members who join by Dec. 31, 2014 will be included in an upcoming Daily Voice story with links to their business websites.

“The strength of the membership is reflected in the growth and diversity of business sectors that connect to help businesses grow,’’ said Sara James, the organization’s Vice President of Membership & Programs. “2014 has already welcomed world renowned medical centers, media companies, green businesses, a professional basketball team and numerous solo-preneurs and small businesses.”
