Westchester Publisher Files For Bankruptcy

Home Town Media Group, which publishes five newspapers in Southern Westchester, filed for Chapter 11 last month.

The company has $178,689 in assets and $382,935 in liabilities according to the Westchester Business Journal. The landlord of its White Plains office said the company is filing bankruptcy in order to reverse an eviction order, according to the Business Journal.

The company was evicted on Sept. 25 and is seeking to get back into its office to reorganize, according to the Business Journal.

Home Town Media publishes The City Review of New Rochelle, The Eastchester Review, The Harrison Review, The Mamaroneck Review and The Rye City Review.
