ArtsWestchester Gift Shop Gets Renovations, Has Trunk Shows

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- ArtsWestchester's gift shop, which showcases local artists throughout the Hudson Valley, has revamped its shop and will be having trunk shows throughout April.

The Shop at ArtsWestchester showcases local artists from throughout the Hudson Valley, including handmade products from the Hudson Valley Etsy Team. 

Relocated to the front of the gallery with a newly revamped look, shoppers can expect to see a variety of new items by more than 13 artists, including whimsical hand-drawn stationary, handcrafted sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, luxurious knit fashions and more.

The shop also will feature trunk shows beginning in April. An extension of ArtsWestchester’s exhibition space at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, the shop is opened during gallery hours from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. 

Scheduled Trunk Shows will focus on individual artists and guests will have the chance to purchase from an expanded inventory of local, handmade items. Artists will demonstrate their craft, allowing shoppers the opportunity to meet the artist, get a glimpse into their creative process and learn what inspires their work.    Upcoming Trunk Shows at The Shop at ArtsWestchester:

  • Saturday, April 18, noon to 4 p.m.: Cindy LaColla  – greeting cards and prints with whimsical hand-drawn, hand lettered watercolor and digital illustrations
  • Saturday, April 25, noon to 4 p.m.: Susan DiGilio – nature-inspired notecards and prints of original pen, ink and watercolor paintings
  • Saturday, May 2, noon to 4 p.m.: Elena Rosenberg – luxurious knit fashion accessories and textile jewelry in fine cottons and silks.
