Children ages 6-13 will have the opportunity to work alongside professional artists while they explore their creativity and participate in classes that will enhance their artistic skills.

Janet T. Langsam, ArtsWestchester chief executive officer, said “ArtsWestchester has been a leader in arts education for more than 35 years, keeping the arts accessible to students of all ages. We are thrilled to be able to offer six different art camps this summer at our landmark White Plains home. ArtsWestchester’s building is a multiuse resource for artists, cultural groups and the community where ideas, creativity, art and discussion go hand-in-hand.”

This summer’s camps will be led by teaching artists Terry Kessler Schwartz (watercolor painting), Joe Mullins (gyotaku art) and Alan Reingold (drawing and anime) and will include clay classes in partnership with Clay Art Center.

All camps will take place in ArtsWestchester’s historic building at 31 Mamaroneck Ave. For more information and to register, call 914-428-4220 or visit artsw.org/summercamp2015
