The 45-minute workshop, "80s for Little Rockers." will take place the afternoon before The Capitol Theatre's "Turn Back The Cap: 1980's" concert, featuring Howard Jones and 1980's tribute band Jessie's Girl.
Jones, best known as one of the founding fathers of early 80s synth-pop, ?will give children ages 3 – 7 years old a hands-on educational experience into the world of rock ‘n’ roll. ?
Children will be encouraged to dance, wiggle and play their way through the musical journey. The Rock and Roll Playhouse (RRPH) workshops are fashioned to stimulate child development, improve social skills, and provide children and families with the chance to share in the love and appreciation for music together.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. "80's for Little Rockers" is a children’s event and all adults must be with a child to attend.
