STRIVE's 50 student members will perform poetry, dance and dramatic interpretation as well as debut STRIDE's new video and theme song. The song and video were entirely student produced, with the lyrics, location selection and filming done in locations around New Rochelle.

The STRIVE Leadership Academy provides dance and positive youth development activities for children ages 11-17 in an effort to avoid youth violence, negative peer influences and other risky behavior.

Originally founded seven years ago to cater to female students, STRIVE became co-ed three years ago and has been involved in a variety of activities ranging from community service and STEM to music and dance.

'Home for the Holidays' will be performed on Friday Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. in the Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library. Admission is free.
