The committee has arranged free, public concerts every Thursday in July at scenic Manor and Flint parks.

The concerts begin at 7:15 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. They are anticipated to bring in large crowds – so get there early for a prime lawn-chair spot. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring food and refreshments to any of the Flint Park concerts – though picnicking is not allowed in Manor Park.

Here’s the lineup for the series:

July 4, Manor Park: The Dixie Dandies are a seven-man Americana band whose music will fit right in with your patriotic festivities.

July 11, Flint Park: Where is Dave

July 18, Flint Park: Twist of Fate is a local Larchmont alternative rock band equipped with steel drums for an extra-summery Caribbean flair.

July 25, Flint Park: Turtle Park Reunion
