Get Rid Of Unwanted Medications At Larchmont Village Hall

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- The Larchmont Police along with The Guidance Center of Westchester will host a drug take-back day at Larchmont Village Hall on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents are invited to safely turn in and dispose of all unwanted or unused prescription drugs.

Misuse of prescription and over-the-counter medications is a leading contributor to addiction and death among young people,” Susan Ohanesian, deputy director of Mental Health & Substance Use Services for The Guidance Center of Westchester, said in a statement. “Safely disposing of unused and expired medications is the first step in keeping them out of the hands of young people."
