Woman Killed In I-84 Crash

Police are seeking witnesses or drivers who have dashcam equipment to contact officers regarding a crash that left a 33-year-old woman dead on I-84.

The crash took place around 7:45 p.m., Monday,  Sept. 13, when a 2015 Acura was headed east in the left-center lane of five, hit the Hartford woman who was walking in the same lane, Connecticut State Police said. 

Police said Tuesday, Sept. 14, they continue to investigate why the woman, identified as Arlena Lisette Clark, was walking on the highway.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating.

Clark was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
