CNR President Judith Huntington and New York State Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul co-chaired the event, which was part of a state-wide initiative by the governor created by Governor Andrew Cuomo at addressing barriers preventing women from achieving leadership roles and inspiring the next generation of young women to aim higher.

Participants underscored the need for women to seek out workplace mentors and advocates, and to identify opportunities to raise their visibility at their workplace.
