Personal Insurance Adviser Jennifer Lavelli will be on-hand at 3 p.m. at the Larchmont Village Center to answer Medicare questions, according to a press release from the library. The program is set to cover Medicare and will include "what Medicare is for and what it is intended to do, how to enroll in the program, when to enroll, and how Medicare works with private insurance," according to the release.
"The medical insurance landscape is about as clear as a field of mud," representatives said in the release. "Potentially, the most confusing thing of all is sorting through the various programs that are available once you retire."
Lavelli is scheduled to "provide the details of all aspects of Medicare in a clear, concise fashion and will answer your questions," according to the release. The program is free and open to the public. The program will take place in the Larchmont Village Center located directly behind the Larchmont Public Library, the group coordinating the event.
For more information about this program, residents can visit the library online or call 914-834-2281.
