MAMARONECK, N.Y. – The Larchmont/Mamaroneck League of Women Voters will accept cleaning supplies for storm victims at its Friday morning Issues Breakfast, according to a league email to The Mamaroneck Daily Voice.

Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson will be on hand to discuss the handling of Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. She will also talk about upgrading the energy system at The Hommocks Ice Rink, which the email said is “the town’s largest energy consumer.”

League President Elizabeth Radow will focus on the topic of the breakfast, "The Road to a Sustainable Larchmont/Mamaroneck," as she speaks about “the League’s Community Conservation Civics Initiative.”

Local business owners will “offer creative gift ideas for the holidays and suggestions for the League’s Conservation Initiative.”

Breakfast is from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m. at the Nautilus Diner on Boston Post Road. The cost is $8 and RSVP is not necessary.
