The program will take place Wednesday nights from June 25 until July 30. SummerBall will be held at Columbus Park, next to the Mamaroneck train station.
"Playing outdoors in the hot and wild conditions on blacktop is part of the hoops experience," said Patrick West, the program manager. "Whether it's playground ball or summer league, kids should balling all summer long."
SummerBall '14 will feature league games for the first time, something West is looking forward to see happen: "There is some real talent in the area, but the kids just need an opportunity to play a more uptempo and free-flowing form of hoops."
Children from the Rye Neck-Mamaroneck-Larchmont school districts are welcome.
Registration is $60 and must be done at the Village Recreation Office, 123 Mamaroneck Ave.
