MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Mamaroneck Public Library will hold a "Home Staging for the Average Homeowner" workshop Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
The workshop is for homeowners who are thinking about or actively looking to sell their houses. It will address how buyers decide, what makes good listing photos, best updates and preparing for showings.
Although the local market is rebuilding, that’s no reason to assume buyers will be taking their house-shopping any less seriously. The reasons a homeowner would choose to prepare a property boil down to getting a better price and getting it quickly. Homes that have been thoughtfully prepared garner the most buzz early on and often attract the most qualified, serious buyers, saving you hassle and carrying costs.
This free workshop will be conducted by Marie Graham, an accredited staging professional and an IDS Certified Interior Decorator. She has worked in Westchester and Fairfield homes since 1981.
To sign up for this free program, call the library's reference desk at 914-698-1250, Ext. 3. Bring a pad of paper, questions and photos. Marie can be contacted at 914-607-2895 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The program will be held in the Community Room of the library at 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck.
