Mamaroneck's Center for Continuing Education Offers Job Search Workshop

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Center for Continuing Education in Mamaroneck is offering "Job Search Boot Camp for Millennials," a fast-paced, two-day workshop designed to help college students and recent grads package and promote themselves for the work world.

The class will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a focus on helping young adults connect their interests and skills with specific careers. Resume development and networking will also be covered.

The center is also offering "Reboot Your Career" on Friday, Jan. 30, for mid-career professionals trying to reposition themselves.

Allison Cheston, a career adviser, who has helped both young adults and mid-career executives launch or re-imagine their careers, teaches both classes.
