Mobile Shredder Comes To Mamaroneck Saturday

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Mobile Shredder will stop in Mamaroneck from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday so residents can safely dispose of personal papers and documents.

The shredder will be parked at the train lot on Railroad Road.

Westchester County recommends residents shred pre-approved credit card applications, credit card bills, receipts, bank statements, old tax returns and other documents with identifying information.

Residents can bring a maximum of four file boxes to be shredded, and all paper must be free of clips and bindings. Officials will not shred bound or hardcover ledger books or paper generated by businesses, schools or other offices.
