Brinberg, who will perform at 8 p.m. Dec. 22, is a world -eknown Streisand impersonator. He has performed in countries such as Austria, New Zealand and England.

He has toured the United States performing such singles as “People,” “The Perfect Year” and “Don’t Rain on My Parade.”

Brenda Ferrante, a promoter for the theater and mother of Executive Director Daniel Ferrante, says she is glad to see Brinberg take the stage. Brinberg performed at the theater in 2011 and 2010.

“We didn't think we were going to get him in and he squeezed us in. So we’re excited to have him back,” she said.

Jason Summers, artistic director at the theater, has performed with Brinberg. He describes Brinberg’s ability to impersonate Streisand is something to behold.

“It’s creepy because if you close your eyes it sounds just like Barbra Streisand,” he said.

Ferrante points out that Brinberg’s exceptional impersonation is not limited to singing. He excels in other areas as well.

“He dresses and has the manarisms of Barabara Streisand and he’s funny,” she explains. Ferrante adds the stories Brinberg tells as Streisand keeps the audience’s interest.
