MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Westchester Jewish Center will screen "Beneath the Helmet: From High School to the Home Front" on April 13.

"Beneath the Helmet" provides a look into the transitions, adjustments and challenges Israelis go through when joining the army for three years after turning 18.

The fundraising event will benefit the Lone Soldier Center in Israel.

Daniel Scopp will also share his recent experience undergoing basic training and serving as an IDF paratrooper.

Admission is $10. Refreshments and popcorn will be served.

The screening will take place in the Activity Center at 7:30 p.m.
