Monday, Jan. 7

Tutoring: 3:30-6 p.m. The Mamaroneck Library program, called "Teacher-in-the-Library" helps elementary school students with homework. 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck. 

Larchmont Planning Board Meeting: 8 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Municipal Building. 120 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Rhythm and Rhyme: 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Help your child develop a love of language and literacy. This program teaches new songs, rhymes and finger plays while celebrating old Mother Goose favorites, such as "Itsy Bitsy Spider." A parent or caregiver must attend. Registration is required. Larchmont Public Library, Burchell Children’s Room, 121 Larchmont Ave.

Stories and Tales: 2:15 p.m. This interactive story time helps foster children’s interest in literacy through fun stories and interesting tales. Registration is not required. A parent or caregiver must attend. Larchmont Public Library, Burchell Children's Room, 121 Larchmont Ave.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

Mamaroneck Planning Board Meeting: 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the village courtroom. 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Mamaroneck.

Filling Out the FAFSA: 6:30-8 p.m. This event will take place in the Mamaroneck Public Library Community Room. 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck.

Thursday, Jan. 10

Rye Town Dissolution Study: 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the village courtroom. 169 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Mamaroneck.
