Monday, Jan. 21

All Mamaroneck and Larchmont government offices and schools are closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.



Tuesday, Jan. 22

Library Registration: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Village of Mamaroneck residents can call the library's children room at 914-630-5894 or register in person for various programs. 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck.

Stories and Tales: 2:15 p.m. This interactive story time helps foster children’s interest in literacy through fun stories and interesting tales. Registration is not required. A parent or caregiver must attend. Larchmont Public Library, Burchell Children's Room, 121 Larchmont Ave.

Young People's Theatre Auditions: 5 p.m. The Westchester Sandbox Theatre will be hosting auditions for its tween production of "All Shook Up." Kids in grades 5 to 9 can audition. For more information, call 914-630-0804 or go to the company website. 931C E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.

School Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The board will discuss district teaching and learning goals, among other topics. 1000 W. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

Tutoring: 3:30 to 6 p.m. The Mamaroneck Library program, called "Teacher-in-the-Library," offers assistance with homework to elementary school students. 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck.

Young and Restless: 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Little movers and shakers can embrace their inner groove in this early-literacy program. A parent or caregiver must attend. Registration is not required. Larchmont Library, Burchell Children’s Room, 121 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

Village of Larchmont Architectural Board of Review Meeting: 8 to 9 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Village Hall Courtroom. 120 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.
