Friday, Jan. 18

Rhythm and Rhyme: 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Help your child develop a love of language and literacy. This program teaches new songs, rhymes and finger plays while celebrating old Mother Goose favorites like “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” A parent or caregiver must attend. Registration is required. Larchmont Library, Burchell Children’s Room, 121 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont.

Saturday, Jan. 19

Music Workshop: 2-3 p.m. The Mamaroneck Library will host a workshop on how to download music onto your computer or mobile device. You must bring your library card and also can bring your laptop or mobile device (smart phone, iPod, MP3 player, etc). 136 Prospect Ave., Mamaroneck.

Sunday, Jan. 20

Young People's Theatre Auditions: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Westchester Sandbox Theatre will be hosting auditions for its "tween" production of All Shook Up. Kids from grades 5-9 can audition. For more information, call 914-630-0804 or go to the company website. 931c E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
