Monday, Feb. 18

Acting Camp at the Emelin Theatre: What starts as a lazy day at the beach quickly turns into mystery and adventure when the search for Blackbeard's gold begins! Tales from past and present lead us on a search of untold riches in "Blackbeard The Pirate." Camp is from Feb. 18 to 22, $165 for ages 6 and 7; $195 for ages 8 and up. Wednesday, Feb. 20

Movie Matinee for Kids at the Larchmont Public Library: 2 p.m. Come see "Hotel for Dogs" on your school break. The movie will be held in the Michael P. Coords Activity Room. Registration is not required, but come early to get your ticket. Space is limited. For kids in kindergarten through grad six. A caregiver must be in the building. The Larchmont Public Library is located at 121 Larchmont Avenue in Larchmont.

Library Book Club at the Mamaroneck Public Library: 2 p.m. Join other avid readers for a literary discussion. The book club will discuss "Defending Jacob" by William Landay. This event is free. The group meets in the Historical Society Room. The Mamaroneck Public Library is located at 136 Prospect Avenue in Mamaroneck.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Knit or Crochet for Project Linus: 10 a.m. to noon. Whisk away cold winter mornings with fellow knitters and crocheters. Contribute to a good cause by making blankets for kids to be donated to local hospitals and Mamaroneck Community Action Program. No instructions or materials are provided; the event is free. The program meets in the Young Adult Section.

Shake Those Chillies Out: 11 a.m. Join Armelle Gloaguen and Amy Lacombe for this children's program. Come rock the house and dance away your winter chills. A high energy presentation of original and traditional songs to chase away the winter blues. Registration is not required, but seating is on a first come first serve basis. The program meets in the Village Center at the Larchmont Public Library. Ages 0-8.

Roots and Shoots at the Mamaroneck Public Library: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Be a part of Jane Goodall's global network of young people and act on your concern for people, animals, and the environment. This event is ree. For ages 8 and up. Registration is required. The group meets in the Children's Room.

Friday, Feb. 22

Teen Afternoon Movie: 1:30 p.m. Come watch the blockbuster hit "THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN" starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. No registration is required. For kids in grades six and up. The program meets in the Village Center at the Larchmont Public Library.

Free Books & Pizza at The Voracious Reader: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Teens 12 to 14 get together, chat about their favorite and upcoming YA books. Choose a free, not-yet-published book. $10 covers admission, pizza and juice/soda. The Voracious Reader is located at 1997 Palmer Avenue in Larchmont. 

The Full Monty at the Westchester Sandbox Theatre: 8 p.m. With a contemporary rock score by David Yazbek and a book by Terrence McNally based on the original motion picture, "The Full Monty" will make you scream with laughter while also tugging at your heartstrings. Show runs through March 10. Tickets are $28, or $24 for students or seniors. Call 914-630-0804 for tickets. The Westchester Sandbox Theatre is located at 931C East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.
