MAMARONECK, N.Y. - A bluegrass band, the farmer's market, and an award-winning chamber music group are all among the events happening in Mamaroneck and Larchmont this weekend.

Friday, Feb. 15

Fridays with Franklin: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Meet the Voracious Reader's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Franklin enjoys being read to as well as any other attention. Free. The Voracious Reader is located at 1997 Palmer Ave., Larchmont.

Donna Ulisse and the Poor Mountain Boys at the Emelin Theater: 8 p.m. Bluegrass singer-songwriter Emelin makes her first appearance at the Emelin. The event costs for $26 in advance, $29 the day of the show and $15 for students. The Emelin Theater is located at 153 Library Lane in Mamaroneck.

Saturday, Feb. 16

Mamaroneck Winter Farmer's Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers will find tables of fresh lettuces, kales, herbs, root vegetables and more from local farmers and food producers. Other market offerings: fresh seafood, local meats, breads, baked goods, pickles and hand-crafted foods. Indoors at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 168 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.

LEGOFest at the Larchmont Public Library: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come explore a world created out of LEGOS. The 300-square-foot display will entertain people of all ages at this library fundraiser held in the village center. $5 for ages 3 and up. The Larchmont Public Library is located at 121 Larchmont Ave. in Larchmont.

Angelina Ballerina The Musical at the Emelin Theatre: 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Angelina and her friends will perform all types of dance, including hip-hop, modern, the Irish jig and ballet. Based on the animated series "Angelina Ballerina The Next Steps" on PBS KIDS and best-selling book. For ages 3 and up. Tickets are $13 for adults and children. Same showtimes on Sunday.

The Miró Quartet at the Emelin Theatre: 8 p.m. The dynamic Miró Quartet, one of America’s highest-profile chamber groups, comes to Westchester on the night before its Carnegie Hall performance. Tickets are $45, or $40 in advance, and $15 wit a student I.D.
