Cross County Shopping Center Hosts Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Cross County Shopping Center hosted its third annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival, and a day of fun family activities, Saturday.

The theme of the chalk art competition was "Chillin' and Grillin,' " sponsored by Applebee's. Several artists drew intricate pieces on the sidewalk under tents, as a light rain fell.

There was also face painting, spin art, sand art, mini golf putting, music, and refreshments.
