Fourth Of July Festivities In Larchmont

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Here is a list of Independence Day activities in Mamaroneck and Larchmont on July 4.

Larchmont

Race in Flint Park – 10 a.m.  Relay races will take place for children and adults. The event is sponsored by the Larchmont Recreation Committee. Sprinklers will be turned on after the races to cool the kids down and refreshments will be served. Due to the forecast for inclement weather, call 834-1919 after 8:00 AM on July 4 to confirm that this event will take place.

Concert in Manor Park – 7:15 p.m. You can see fireworks from neighboring communities all across Long Island Sound while listening to the music of The Dixie Dandies.  Please keep in mind that picnics are not permitted in Manor Park.  This event is held rain or shine.

Mamaroneck

Harbor Island Beach and Spray Pool – Will be closed on July 4, to set up for the fireworks display.

Hommocks Pool – 10 a.m. to 6:40 p.m. The pool will be open for swimming.

Fireman’s Carnival – 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The 65th annual Fireman’s Carnival features a Ferris wheel, dunk tank, the Zipper, children’s rides, games, food and more. The carnival does not open in the rain.

Fireworks at Harbor Island – 9:15 p.m. Annual fireworks display at Harbor Island Park. Rain date is July 5.
