LARCHMONT, N.Y. – Beginning Saturday, Jan. 10, the Larchmont Public Library is offering two different four-week yoga classes that are being led by yoga Instructor, Damien Germino.

Space for these classes is limited so the library is asking those interested in participating to call the library at 914- 834-2281 to register. The library also asks that those registering be available for all four sessions that comprise each class.

Each class will be held in the Larchmont Village Center located directly behind the Larchmont Public Library.

Saturday Morning Yoga with Germino begins on Saturday, Jan. 10, and continues on consecutive Saturdays - Jan. 17, 24 and 31 - at 9:30 a.m. Start your year off right by getting in shape. Damien Germino will guide participants through a basic yoga session, which will demonstrate how yoga can have profound positive effect, both physically and mentally, when practiced regularly. No experience is required, but participants will need to provide their own yoga mat or blanket.

Parent and Child Yoga, also led by Germino, will begin on Jan. 10, at 10:30 a.m., immediately following Saturday Morning Yoga and will continue on consecutive Saturdays through Jan. 31. Practicing yoga is a great way for families to stay in shape. Damien Germino will guide participants through a basic yoga session, which will demonstrate how yoga can have profound positive effect, both physically and mentally, when families practice Yoga together. No experience is required, but participants will need to provide their own yoga mat or blanket. Children participating must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Germino has been practicing yoga for five years. He works full-time at The College of New Rochelle in student services. He is now pursuing his second Masters in Public Administration.
