Larchmont Library Offers Workshop On Improved Posture

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Larchmont Public Library invites residents for an introductory workshop on the benefits of the Alexander Technique with certified Alexander Technique instructor Eve Silver on Saturday, May 9, at 11:15 a.m.

The workshop is also being given on Friday, May 29, at 11:15 a.m., also at the Larchmont Public Library. Both workshop sessions are free.

The Alexander Technique is a method that works to change habits of how people move in their everyday activities. It is a simple and practical method for improving ease and freedom of movement, balance, support and coordination.

Silver successfully completed a three-year training course at the American Center for the Alexander Technique in Manhattan, and has been certified to teach the Alexander Technique by the American Society for the Alexander Technique.
