There are 210-plus restaurants involved in the promotion; seven in Larchmont and Mamaroneck. The special deal includes three-course, prix fixe dinners for $29.95 and $20.95 lunches (plus beverage, tax and tip).
Participating venues include well-known establishments such as Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua and X2O Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers, as well as 13 new area restaurants, including Trattoria 160 in Pleasantville, Birdsall House in Peekskill and Halstead Avenue Bistro in Harrison.
The promotion is seemingly coming at a good time. According to Chef Matthew Karp of Plates in Larchmont, HVRW is always great at getting people out and enjoying but this year it feels like a lifeline.
"It's been a long cold winter," he said. "Restaurant Week will just be another good reason to get together and enjoy some great food."
