LARCHMONT, N.Y. – The Larchmont Public Library is hosting its first-ever cookbook swap Monday, May 11, which will also include barbeque samples and recipe tips from the chef of Apiary.
Joerg Zehe, an executive chef with over 15 years of culinary experience, will discuss barbeque seasoning secrets at the event.
Before becoming a co-owner of Apiary, Zehe cooked in several high-end restaurants in New York City, including Bolo, Ed’s Lobster Bar, Maloney & Porcelli and Matsuri.
Patrons do not need to bring a cookbook or participate in the cookbook swap to benefit from Zehe’s presentation, according to a press release from the library.
However, those who do bring a cookbook will be given a ticket to select another cookbook in a “white elephant” type of exchange.
The event will begin at 7 p.m.
Larchmont Public Library is located at 121 Larchmont Ave.
