Mamaroneck Residents Part Of The Team Behind 'Foxcatcher'

MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Two Mamaroneck High School graduates will have their names on the big screen yet again when the movie, "Foxcatcher" premieres at The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

"Foxcatcher" stars Channing Tatum, Steve Carell, Mark Ruffalo, and Vanessa Redgrave.

Filmmaker Bennett Miller and screenwriter Dan Futterman grew up in Mamaroneck and Larchmont and, according to Wikipedia, have been friends since 7th Grade. The two have collaborated on other projects together including "Capote" with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
