SPCA officials have chosen some of their finest pets, who are available for adoption and looking for a good home and new family to love. Among the animals spotlighted this week include:
- "If you're looking for fun, you're looking for Baby Girl! This lab/border collie mix is a smart, energetic, playful, friendly girl. She's definitely not a couch potato and would like a home where she can get outside and have lots of fun! A yard where she can romp and run would be ideal. Baby Girl gets along well with other dogs. - "Calling all black lab lovers! Thaxton is around four years old and he's a stunning black beauty -- his photos don't do him justice! He is a friendly guy who will make a great adventure buddy for one lucky adopter. Thaxton is selective with his dog friends, and has trouble sharing his toys and treats with pups and humans, so he's working on that through training. - "What a looker! 5-year-old Prissy is not prissy at all! In fact she's a mellow, friendly, girl who gets along with everyone she meets. She enjoys attention and affection (and belly rubs!) from people, and has lived successfully with other cats and dogs before. An all-around great cat -- come meet her."
- "Our sweet boy Finney can’t believe he’s still here...neither can we! This gorgeous 7-month-old Aussie loves other dogs and although be’s very shy at first with people he’s also very sweet. He’d love a home with a canine buddy but preferably a quiet one without little kids so that he feels safe. Finney has tons of potential so stop on in and meet our beautiful boy"
