New Rochelle Police Commissioner Patrick Carroll and members of the New Rochelle Police Foundation were presented with a $5,000 donation from Ramiro Lopez of Ramiro’s Tree Service this week. The donation will be used for the next dog in the NRPD’s K9 Unit. The new dog will be named Diesel in honor of the French police dog killed in Wednesday’s police raid.

Additionally, the New Rochelle Police Foundation will donate $2,000 to the French police for their canine unit.  French police will be presented to representatives from the French consulate in New York City next week.
