LARCHMONT, N.Y. – The Tour de Larchmont Bike Tour has been canceled for Oct. 7 and the rest of the year.
The Village of Larchmont canceled the event because it couldn't find a date that would work with all the holidays surrounding Oct. 7, according to the Larchmont Recreation office.
The cancellation is only for this year; Larchmont plans on having the event next year.
The Tour de Larchmont was a casual bike tour through parts of the village. Participants of all ages would start by decorating their bikes at Flint Park before starting the 4-mile bike ride.
