White Plains Hospital Grows Maternal Care Team

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital has welcomed two acclaimed doctors to its growing women's health department.

Dr. Yoni Barnhard and Dr. Garfield Clunie have joined WPH's Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. 

Barnhard joins White Plains Hospital as the new director of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He comes to White Plains Hospital from Norwalk Hospital, where he previously served as chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for the Western Connecticut Health Network. A graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Barnhard completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellowship in maternal and fetal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Clunie has assumed the role of director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine program at White Plains Hospital. He received his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Downtown Hospital and his fellowship in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at the Tufts New England Medical Center. He was previously on staff at White Plains Hospital as a perinatologist from 2006 to 2012, and has since been with Mount Sinai as an assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science.
