The personal trainer, who starred as quarterback at Horace Greeley High School, was recently profiled by the Associated Press along with his girlfriend, Chelsey Korus on the concept of swolemate- a girlfriend, wife or even a friend that you bond with through workouts.

Aidala and Korus met while on a photo shoot in Central Park, quickly bonding over their love of working out and keeping each other in shape. The couple do a lot of acrobatics together, chronicles their efforts on Aidala's Instagram, where he has 58,000 followers.

"We both work as movement artists and do a lot of strength and conditioning," Aidala said. "We're inseparable."

At Greeley, Aidala won a league title three years ago, where he learned the value of teamwork. Aidala later played football at SUNY Cortlandt.

"It's great to bring everyone together for a common goal whether it be scoring a touchdown or making the world a better place."

Aidala said he enjoys going out there and keeping his body moving, whether it be hiking, running a mile or playing a tag.

"My number one tip is to keep it fun," Aidala said. "I get bored easily, so I like to change it up. I try not to stay stagnant."

From balancing on his hands or learning how to do a backflip, Aidala said he is always challenging himself- and it's even more fun when he's with his swolemate.

"We're smiling and laughing while we're exercising," Aidala said. "You're working together as a team."
