Larchmont Lions Receive State Service Club Award

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- State Sen. George Latimer presented the Larchmont Lions Club with the New York State Senate Service Club of the Month Award.

The award recognized the Larchmont Lions Club for its community services such as aid for the blind, eye-care health and support for local and senior citizen programs.

The club also had a presence at the Larchmont 125th Anniversary Celebration on Sept. 26 with three guide dogs in training for the blind and the launch of the Art for Peace competition.
