The anniversary celebration for the public access cable-TV network, which connects Larchmont, Mamaroneck and Rye Neck, took place last month at the Beach Point Club. Elaine Chapnick, an LMC-TV founder and chair of The Larchmont-Mamaroneck Local Summit, received “The Sunny Award,” according to a news release. The award, named for LMC-TV co-founder Sunny Goldberg, LMC-TV's highest honor.

Chapnick has served on several community boards and she “adds value to everything she touches,” LMC-TV Executive Director Erik Lewis said in the press release.

Eileen Mason, a founder and 30-year volunteer, received the 2013 Special Recognition Award, according to the release.

"By Mr. Lewis’s rough estimation, Ms. Mason has been involved in more than 1,700 LMC-TV productions," representatives said in the release.

"Nearly all of Larchmont and Mamaroneck’s community leaders were present at the event," representatives said in the release. "The honorees received proclamations from the tri-municipalities as well as from U.S. Rep. Eliot Engel, U.S. Representative Nita Lowey (who formerly represented the Sound Shore area), New York State Senator George Latimer, New York State Assemblyman Steve Otis and Westchester County Legislator Judy Myers. Among those dignitaries attending the event were officials from the tri-municipal area, including Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor Nancy Seligson, Village of Mamaroneck Mayor Norm Rosenblum and Village of Larchmont Mayor Anne McAndrews."

LMC-TV can be found on Cablevision channels 75, 76, 77 and Verizon cable channels 34, 35, 36.
