Larchmont/Mamaroneck Community TV Makes 'Giving Tuesday' Pitch

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Larchmont-Mamaroneck Community Television station is seeking donations for "Giving Tuesday."

The station is only funded through 2015 and is seeking funding for next year. Currently, LMC-TV gives more than 137 local volunteers professional media experience and employs more than 75 local youths to bring the news.

LMC-TV was founded as a non-profit organization in 1983 by board members and local producers who raised funds through envelope stuffing to convince others to offer the cash needed to run.
