Mamaroneck Center For Continuing Education Announces New Board Members

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — The Center for Continuing Education in Mamaroneck announced that Kim Christiansen, Amy Giddon, Simon Marlow, Leslie Newman and Linnet Tse have joined its board of directors.

“The Center is a very important educational asset to the community,” said Executive Director Blythe Hamer . “I am delighted to have these long-time community members and leaders in their fields bring their wealth of experience to the Board.”

Christiansen is a finance professional who spent eight years as a legislative assistant in the U.S. Senate working on business and economic related issues before going on to work at JP Morgan.

Giddon is the director of Leadership Development at the Athena Center for Leadership at Barnard College, which helps corporations and non-profits to support and develop women leaders.

Marlow is an international marketing communications expert with more  40 years experience, having been managing director of the advertising firm of BBDO Worldwide and creating campaigns for Gillette, Pepsi, Bayer, Venus and Duracell.

Newman is a lawyer who has years of experience in the telecom industry at Motorola, eventually deciding to work from home full-time so she could remain involved in her children's lives.

Tse has worked in the corporate world and Mamaroneck community, working in Coca-Cola's Business Planning department before leaving the workforce to become an active volunteer in the area.
