MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Roy Stillman, president of Stillman Property Management in Mamaroneck, recently received a proclamation from Westchester County Legislator Bill Ryan for his generosity toward Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS).
In addition to serving as a long-standing WJCS board member, Stillman received honors for donating space at 170 East Post Road in White Plains for the Pass It On Kid’s Kloset, a volunteer organization that takes donations of infant necessities and children's clothing to give to families in need.
He also leased space at below-market cost to the new Taft Community Room which provides a social spot for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“It is an honor and privilege to serve WJCS and to help them help the community,” said Stillman in a statement. “WJCS is using our space at 170 East Post Road to improve the lives and futures of those in need.”
“Roy's dedication to his community is inspiring and he has truly made Westchester a better place to live and work,” said Barry Kaplan, president, WJCS board of directors in a release.
Westchester Jewish Community Services provides mental-health treatment and counseling, child and youth development programs, residential and non-residential programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, home health and geriatric services, and programs for the Jewish community.
