Steven Josephson has been in the toy business for more than 40 years so he knows a little bit about what kids like.

"I enjoy the environment of toys," said Josephson, 60. "It keeps me young."

The Mamaroneck toy shop owner will be in charge of the children's center at Harbor Fest Sunday and he has been planning some of the activities for the street festival.

Josephson said there will be face-painting, balloon twisting, temporary tattoos, sand art and a jumping castle, among many things.

There will also be two professional Myachi hand sackers demonstrating  how to use the toy, which is essentially a rectangular bean bag the size of a pack of chewing gum."It's a popular toy," Josephson said. "And it'll be more popular when they come."Josephson grew up in the Bronx, where his father owned a candy store. When he was 18, he took over the store and decided to sell toys instead. He lives in Rye Brook and has owned the Toy Box in Mamaroneck for 16 years."I think toys are a great part of children's lives," he said. "It brings them happiness."
