MAMARONECK, N.Y. Wednesday marks the start of the St. Vitos Festa in Mamaroneck, being held for the second year in a row.
The event had been a yearly celebration before it was halted in 2003. It was started again last year by Jim Lanza and Bonnie Casterlla and parish manager Joe Comblo, among others.
The festival, held in a parking lot at the intersection of Elliot and Ralph avenues, features classic carnival rides such as a Ferris wheel, a Whip, swings and more. Carnival games for children and adults, raffles, and plenty of Italian food will also be available.
The Festa will run from 6 to 11 p.m. every night until Sunday.
