Woman's Club Of Larchmont Has Annual Philanthropic Luncheon

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – “Happy Birthday – 90 Years of Giving” is the theme of the Woman’s Club of Larchmont’s Annual Philanthropic Luncheon taking place Wednesday, March 25 at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club.

Now celebrating its 90th year of operation, philanthropy has been a key goal of the organization from its earliest days. The public is invited to this fun-filled afternoon with a reception followed by lunch, a silent auction featuring gift certificates contributed by local shops and restaurants, raffles, and musical entertainment by local high school students. Chairperson Renee DeVries and her committee are also preparing gift baskets and collecting treasures for a boutique sale.

In honor of the club’s special anniversary, there also will be a history table. Past recipients of the Woman’s Club have included the Cancer Support Team, Larchmont Friends of the Family, and the Mamaroneck-Larchmont Student Aid Fund. The cost is $50 a person.
