Adopted Daughter Leaves Rosie O'Donnell's Home

NYACK, N.Y. – Chelsea O'Donnell, the adopted daughter of Rosie O'Donnell, has left her home voluntarily according to a family spokeswoman, CNN reported.

"This was her choice' to live with her birth mother once she turned 18," spokeswoman Cindi Berger was quoted as saying.

As a 17-year-old, Chelsea O'Donnell was reported missing on Aug. 11, and was found a week later in New Jersey.

Steven Sheerer, whom O'Donnell was living with, is currently in jail on charges of distribution of obscenity to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child
