Blotter: Larchmont Woman Says She Was Wrongly Charged $2,600

LARCHMONT, N.Y. – A Concord Avenue resident reported on Oct. 25 that someone fraudulently used her credit card, making numerous purchases totaling more than $2,600.

The following incidents were also reported in the Larchmont Police Department blotter from Oct. 22 to Oct. 29:

Criminal Mischief: A Shore Drive resident reported on Oct. 22 that sometime during the overnight hours, someone broke a headlamp on his vehicle, which was parked in the driveway of his residence.

Vehicle Impound: A scofflaw vehicle with $350 in outstanding fines was impounded and towed from Lot 3 on Oct. 25.

Larceny: A Flint Avenue resident reported on Oct. 26 that someone removed his gym bag and its contents from his vehicle, which was parked and unlocked in his driveway.

Larceny: A Willow Avenue resident reported on Oct. 27 that someone intercepted a check, which he had mailed as payment, altered the payee information on the check and cashed it.

Larchmont Police officers also responded to 10 burglar alarms, two motor vehicle accidents, seven aided cases and 52 other calls for service.
