Burglar Hits Two Larchmont Acres Apartments

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Two Larchmont Acres residents reported property missing from their nearby apartments, Nov. 21. One resident reported their MacBook Pro, worth $1,100 and Citizen watch, worth $250, were stolen, while the other resident didn't report anything missing. There were no signs of forced entry in either case of second-degree burglary and both are under investigation.

The following incidents were also reported in the Town of Mamaroneck Police blotter from Nov. 21 to Nov. 25.

Menacing : A town resident, 20, was threatened at knife-point outside of his home on Myrtle Boulevard by a Mt. Vernon man Nov. 23. Police arrested him for second-degree menacing. Burglary : A town resident, 68, reported a medium family safe and its contents stolen from his Fairway Drive home sometime between Nov. 9 at 12:01 a.m. and Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. The contents of the safe were valued at $100. Criminal Trespass : A Murray Avenue resident saw an unknown suspect entering a locked storage area outside of Murray Avenue School. The blue building houses gas meters.
