MAMARONECK, N.Y. - Con Edison is performing a regular system upgrade on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue.
They contracted Hartsdale-based Asplundh Construction Corp. to install a Kyle Switch, which will allow Con Edison to work the electrical box remotely. A foreman on the project said this upgrade will simply help maintain quality service.
Asplundh Construction Corp. began work on Wednesday, but were rained out, pushing the project to Thursday. The same foreman said they would complete the upgrade in one day.
