LARCHMONT, N.Y.– On Saturday, bring your old or unused prescription drugs to the Larchmont Police Station.

Abuse of prescription drugs is an alarming trend, especially among teens, according to the press release from the Village of Larchmont.

The Larchmont Police Department urges residents to take an inventory of your home medicine cabinet. Then lock up the prescription and over-the-counter medicines you need and drop off the rest Saturday for safe disposal.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Village Hall, 120 Larchmont Ave.

Residents from both Larchmont and Mamaroneck are encouraged to participate in this event.
