LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Larchmont has a burglar on the prowl, according to the Larchmont Police Department, which received burglary reports from four tenants of the same West Avenue apartment building Oct. 12.
Larchmont police are considering this as one incident because the time frame between each report is relatively close.
The unknown suspect broke into four apartments, stealing a total of $3,600. Three of the four residents reported stolen property in the amount of $1,500, $1,200 and $900, according to the police blotter. One West Avenue resident reported their apartment was entered and ransacked only.
